The Gore Bay Museum is housed within the Gore Bay court complex, having originally served as the Manitoulin District Jail and jailer's residence until 1945. This museum is unique in that it has preserved many of its original features, making it one of the few remaining Ontario jails to do so. Today, the museum showcases the fascinating history of the local early settlers.

Our Lodge has ten cabins and several RV sites. The cabins can accommodate from 2 persons up to six in the largest one. You may choose an American plan stay, which includes all meals, or cook your own in your cabin. Our large dining room accommodates up to 25 people if you choose the American plan but is not a standard restaurant. The RV sites have water and electric hook-ups and there is a dump station for visitor and public use.
