At French River Lodge our guests are surrounded by a spectacular view of Ox Bay, where the French and Pickerel Rivers join on their way to Georgian Bay. The main complex also includes a variety store to meet our guests’ every need.

The Fox Lake shoreline is situated in an area steeped in history and is in close proximity to the Elbow on the Spanish River. Fish Tale Cabins & Campground is located on the Wolseley River flowing into the beautiful French River. We offer tenting sites, fully serviced trailer and RV sites and housekeeping cottages, which range in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms. All of our sites are snuggled amongst impressive rock outcroppings combined with majestic, mature pine trees! The Wolseley and French rivers truly are an angling paradise of Pickerel, Northern Pike, Muskellunge and Bass! This area is also second to none regarding picturesque landscapes and bountiful fishing.
