Ruby Lake Provincial Park incorporates three small lakes, wetlands and a mesa-cuesta named Doghead Mountain with cliffs and ravines that provide important habitat for bald eagle, and peregrine falcon, both of which are species of risk in Ontario. Ruby Lake Provincial Park is part of the OLL Great Lakes Heritage Coast Signature Site and is classified as a natural environment park. Ruby Lake is also located adjacent to Parks Canada’s National Marine Conservation Area.

Explore the 6.0-kilometer loop trail near Agawa Bay, Ontario, which is generally considered an easy route and takes an average of 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete. This trail is a popular destination for camping, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some quiet time during less busy hours. The best time to visit this trail is between March and November. Dogs are allowed on the trail but must be kept on a leash.

Fox Haven is a natural haven spread across an area of more than 130 acres. It is surrounded by vast wilderness and is home to a diverse range of animals, including moose, sand hill cranes, eagles, beavers, foxes, herons, turtles, and many more. The place remains open throughout the year and has two permanent buildings, both with indoor beds. These buildings have a total of 12 beds for attendees, including seven double beds and five single beds. Both buildings are equipped with wood-burning stoves to keep them warm.

Rockport Camp offers four fully-equipped, charming country-style cottages located just a few feet away from the stunning, sparkling waters of the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. The ZEC Kipawa is a controlled harvesting zone. En francais that's "zone d'exploitation contrôlée" (ZEC). An excellent destination for camping, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, or just walking the forest trails, it's busiest from May to October.

The Glamping Island is a beautiful, historic, private five-acre island on Lake Temiskaming, only a few kilometres from Haileybury’s marina.
