Pakwash Provincial Park is located 19 km north of Ear Falls, and is home to a 1.5 kilometer long sand beach, campgrounds, nature trails, aboriginal rock paintings and over 65 species of birds.

Bon Echo Provincial Park is home to the 100-metre-high Mazinaw Rock, featuring over 260 Indigenous pictographs. Explore the park's RV, car camping, backcountry, and roofed accommodations, beaches and great hiking trails from 1 km in length to 17 km in length. Interpretive boat tours are offered on Mazinaw Lake and over to Mazinaw Rock.

Silent Lake Provincial Park offers 19 km of hiking trails and 17 km of mountain biking trails, two sandy beaches, campsites as well as heated, four-season roofed accommodations (yurts & camp cabins), and more than 34 km of groomed winter cross-country ski trails.

Point Park is located on the shores of Rainy Lake in east Fort Frances on Highway 11. Enjoy hours of relaxation, recreation, fishing, swimming and sunbathing. Campsites are also available. Don't forget to have a rest at the Big Chair! There is a huge grassy area as well as as many play structures for the kids. 

Docking facilities are within one mile of the park at the Sorting Gap Marina. There are a number of stores nearby where you can purchase gas, ice and any other supplies that you may need.

This Group of Seven interpretive panel is located at Pancake Bay Provincial Park. The interpretive installation depicts the paintings of Harris and MacDonald that incorporated all the elements of the surrounding landscapes. Sit and look over the site that inspired these incredible works of art. 

Such a Nice Day Adventures (S.A.N.D.) is located on the Canadian north shore of Lake Superior in Rossport Ontario. They are an outdoor adventure and education company that operates south from Thunder Bay to the United States Border and eastward in the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area. They offer courses, a variety of guided trips, sea kayaking, voyageur canoeing, hiking, rentals and shuttle service. 

Gooseberry Falls State Park is located near Two Harbors and is known for the gorgeous Gooseberry Falls. Gooseberry Falls features upper, middle, and lower falls for viewing. Some of the main things to do include viewing the scenic waterfalls and Lake Superior shoreline, visiting places such as the Visitor Center, nature store, historic CCC Log, and stone structures. 

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is the largest state park within Michigan. With 60,000 acres located along the southern shores of Lake Superior and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It has many beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, vistas, and hemlock-hardwood stands. Being such a large park there is plenty to do.
