Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park

Known as Niagara of the North, Kakabeka Falls drops 40 metres over rock cliffs and some of the oldest fossils in the world. Check out the view from platforms and trails along the gorge or trace voyageur routes around the falls in this history-rich park. Features walking and nature trails in summer and groomed cross-country ski trails in winter.

Pagoda Visitor Information Centre

Thunder Bay’s Tourist “Pagoda” can rightfully claim its place in history as Canada’s oldest continuously operating tourist bureau. This Chinese-like structure dates back to 1909. Amongst its modern neighbours and overlooking Thunder Bay’s marina, the Pagoda has continued to greet visitors for more than a century. Northwestern Ontario Aviation Heritage Centre

Explore Northwest Ontario's rich aviation history including bush flying and WWII airplanes produced at Canada Car with an impressive collection of photos, memorabilia and personal stories preserved for those interested in either remembering or learning about adventurous times at the Northwestern Ontario Aviation Heritage Centre.

Terry Fox Information Centre & Scenic Lookout

The Park is home to a nine-foot bronze statue, set on a 45-ton granite base with a foundation of local amethyst, with breathtaking view of Lake Superior, and a visitor information centre. The statue was originally erected across the highway in memory of Terry Fox, the courageous one-legged runner who embarked on a cross-country run for cancer research- the Marathon of Hope, but was moved to its current location on October 1993.

Located directly off of Highway 17, Egli's has an abundance of Made in Canada products; ranging from wool clothing to sheepskin slippers, mitts, hats, and many other great products.  Egli’s also has a tour for you and your family to get out and view the different animals that are on the farm.

Alfred Hole Goose Sanutuary and Visitor Centre

Inside the Visitor Centre, displays present the history of the sanctuary, the biology of Canada geese and plenty of opportunities to view the geese up-close. Park Interpreters offer scheduled programs, activities and park information from spring to fall.

and explore a classic Mennonite housebarn and a fully operational Dutch windmill during our summer season.
