Sand beach, beautiful SAUNA!, fishing boat, canoe, kayaks (floatplane owner could fly right to the ramp at the Retreat). We offer 3 comfortable rooms, a living room, dining area, full kitchen, BBQ, DVDs, CDs, high quality 7 channel stereo, and home theatre. Spectacular view overlooking the lake from a large deck or living room that is very secluded and peaceful, but accessible by car. Fishing (walleye, pike, bass, whitefish) year-round. Snowshoeing too!
Hosts Margaret and Bruce can be onsite or you can have the property to yourself!
After the Powwow, head over to Bayside Resort on Manitowaning Bay in Wikwemikong for a one or two-night stay. The only things you'll need to bring are food, friends and slippers to cozy up in! Each log cabin comes equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

The Casque Isles Trail is an adventurer’s dream come true, and then some—one of the top 10 best hikes in Ontario! This is the must-hike trail in Northwestern Ontario. The trail weaves 53 km (33 miles) along the north shore of Lake Superior, highlighting some of the most stunning vistas of Lake Superior, and linking the communities of Terrace Bay, Schreiber and Rossport together. You’ll be swept away as you hike from one beautiful bay to the next.

Foster Lake Park is known for its scenic view, sandy beach, cool waters and playground area. The shaded shelters with picnic tables make for the perfect post-swim, lunchtime spot. The outdoor privy's and change room are a bonus too! ;)
This is a great spot for hiking, picnicking, canoeing, and (during spring and fall) catching the spawning run for Rainbow Trout and Chinook salmon. If the weather’s nice, spend the afternoon at Sauble Beach, the second-longest freshwater beach in Canada and one of the best places in the country to catch a sunset.
Overlooking Lake Huron, this destination offers visitors more than 10 km of sandy beaches, 10 distinct walking trails, and 14 km of bike trails (or, during winter months, 38 km of groomed ski trails). Those looking for something more high-adventure can also rent canoes, hydro bikes, paddleboards, and more.
