At the Lac Seul Lodge base camp we have 9 modern cabins and 2 modern cottages available. These are two, three and four bedroom cottages and cabins that are large and bright with two bedrooms, bathroom, living rooms, kitchen and screened veranda. In addition to our main base camp, we own two remote boat-in outpost cabins on Lac Seul. Roughing it isn't so rough at our remote boat-in outpost cabins! They are well equipped and the grounds and equipment are well maintained and clean.

There are twenty-two kettle lakes in the area that were formed by glaciers. These lakes are deep and are fed by springs. The forest in the area is mainly Jack Pine Boreal Forest. If you enjoy fishing, you'll be glad to know that many of the lakes are stocked with Rainbow and Brook Trout, making for excellent fishing. Additionally, there are fourteen kilometers of biking trails to explore. For families, there are also interpretive programs available.

Surrounded by forest, a convenient and pleasant campground sits high above the river, located just off Highway 11, two kilometers south of Englehart. Kagawong marina facilities include the Aus Hunt Marina (formerly the “government dock”) and the Small Craft Basin, adjacent to the Old Mill building; Jim Fowlie manages both. Open from mid-May to September.

Iron Bridge Historical Museum

The museum is made up of historic buildings and artifacts from the area depicting the life of early settlers to the area. There is a weekly Farmers' Market during the summer months, a picnic area, and public washroom facilities.

The Heritage Park Museum consists of authentic displays and buildings from the area over 100 years ago. Visitors can explore the general store, chapel, blacksmith shop, drive shed, schoolhouse a pioneer home. The museum is open in July and August from Monday - Sunday. Admission is by donation which helps to maintain and expand the facility. A lovely little museum not to be missed!
