The Terrace Bay Swim Pool is open to provide a fun and safe swimming environment for all ages to enjoy. Our pool is staffed by qualified Lifeguards and Instructors with the Lifesaving Society. Programs offered are Lifesaving Society Swim Lessons, Aquafitness, Adult Swim Lessons, Swim Zone. Swimming Pool offers Open Swim, Family Swim, Lunch Lengths, Teen Swim and Adult Swim! Something for everyone!

The Nipigon Public Pool is a very family friendly pool with certified and trained lifeguards all of which were also taught in the same pool they are now guarding. It is outdoors and a great place to have birthdays and other get togethers during the summer. They also offer monthly and season passes, swimming lessons, and rentals.

The Casque Isles Trail is an adventurer’s dream come true, and then some—one of the top 10 best hikes in Ontario! This is the must-hike trail in Northwestern Ontario. The trail weaves 53 km (33 miles) along the north shore of Lake Superior, highlighting some of the most stunning vistas of Lake Superior, and linking the communities of Terrace Bay, Schreiber and Rossport together. You’ll be swept away as you hike from one beautiful bay to the next.

We offer superior fishing from our remote lodge on Bowman Island. Bowman Island is located off the south shore of St. Ignace Island in the center of the new Lake Superior Marine Conservation Area on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Anishinaabe Wild Rice Experience is a family operated business that provides an authentic cultural hands-on activity for learners who want to experience harvesting and processing wild rice in a traditional and contemporary setting.  The Friday Family can trace their harvesting of wild rice from Whitefish Lake several generations and want to share this traditional way of life of harvesting wild rice.
