The Hearst Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Club is run entirely by VOLUNTEERS. This allows us to keep the membership rates at an affordable level. During the season, we invite you to give a few hours of your time in helping the Club.

Hearst Air Service offers a wide variety of fishing opportunities that will satisfy a beginner angler to a seasoned pro. We welcome you to come fishing at one of our remote Ontario fishing outposts that are accessible only be air.  You can Drive, train, or fly to our airbase on Carey Lake in Hearst Ontario and from there we will fly you to a wilderness outpost cabin on some of the most pristine lakes Northern Ontario has to offer. Hearst Air Service offers Ontario fly in fishing trips for families, groups, couples, and corporate groups on Northern Ontario’s untouched lakes.  

Halley’s Camps, a family business, has been a fishing destination for 79 years in Ontario, Canada. The incredible walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass fishing are truly out of this world on the English River located north of Minaki, Ontario. As we continue to operate as a family business (started in 1946), we see that traditions are still important—our fishermen return year after year. Open year-round! Our 1 and 2 bedroom fully-equipped cabins are surrounded by Crown Land, along the Murdock river, as it enters the top of the French River, making it the perfect location for hunting and fishing. We have a private boat launch on site, providing the only access to the Murdock River. There is a public boat launch across the road, providing access to the French River. Great Escape Cabins is minutes away from the C Trail, offering grocery packages and supplies to snowmobilers. Satellite TV and propane BBQ’s are included with each cabin. Boat and canoe rentals available.
