Halley’s Camps, a family business, has been a fishing destination for 79 years in Ontario, Canada. The incredible walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass fishing are truly out of this world on the English River located north of Minaki, Ontario. As we continue to operate as a family business (started in 1946), we see that traditions are still important—our fishermen return year after year. Fishermen not only boat large numbers of fish, but find that the quality of the fishery is amazing. We have thousands of miles of shoreline on the lakes, which is hundreds of acres of water to fish and with little fishing pressure. Guests at Halley’s Camps eat their own catch of the day during their shore lunch. In 2024, our guests registered over 1,642 trophy fish!
