A day-use park with a beautiful sandy beach, Batchawana Bay Provincial Park is an ideal spot for a family day at the beach. The drive along Hwy 17 North offers outstanding of Lake Superior and the rugged landscape. This park is open from mid-May to October for day use only.
Arctic Watershed 144 Rest Area

Travel up one of the most isolated highways in the province to visit this rest stop. Get your selfie next to the sign where on one side it says the water flows to the Atlantic Ocean, on the other to the Arctic.
Anicinabe RV Park & Campground

Municipal RV Park and campground, looking out on picturesque Lake of the Woods; four season destination.
Park includes a large field, picnic shelter, event stage, barbeque pits, play structure, beach, swimming docks and a boat launch. The general store has bait, snacks and great ice cream. Additionally, Crokicurl rinks have been added as a family fun winter attraction.
Alona Bay Scenic Lookout

Alona Bay offers beautiful vistas of Lake Superior and is a great leg stretch stop.

Agawa Bay Visitor/ Interpretive Centre

Located adjacent to the Agawa Bay Campground, the Visitor Centre highlights the “Power of Lake Superior” and the park’s cultural history, natural features and recreational opportunities. This facility also includes an information/reception area, washrooms, theatre/activity room and a gift shop.
Agawa Bay Scenic Lookout

Agawa Bay Scenic Lookout is located 84 km (52 miles) south of Wawa. This is a gravel roadside pull off above Highway 17 that offers an unobstructed view of Lake Superior and Montreal Island. It's a great place to stop and stretch your legs along the Lake Superior Circle Tour. A couple of welcoming benches are perfectly situated for soaking in this incredible view.
A.Y. Jackson Lookout

Just a half-hour drive northwest on Highway 144 from Sudbury to Dowling, you'll reach the A.Y. Jackson Lookout. This popular spot, favored by photographers, offers an accessible trail leading to the breathtaking High Falls. Cascading 55 meters in a single graceful cascade into the Sudbury basin, the falls provide a stunning sight.
