No matter what your favorite outdoor activity may be, our Lodge is the just the cottage resort you’re looking for as the center of activity for your adventures. Fishing, hunting, water sports and nature walks are some of the favorite activities of our guests. Relaxing on the beaches of Lake Nipissing, and enjoying the waves, the sun and the sand is also popular. During the winter months, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and romantic getaways are more customary.

You can find Mississagi Provincial Park in the Penokean Hills, within a 15-minute drive north from the city of Elliot Lake. The park is classified as a Natural Environment Park because of its significant, preserved natural features, such as its rolling hills, forests, lakes and streams. It was established in 1965 and consists of 4,900 hectares of pristine wilderness.

The only operation provincial park on Manitoulin Island provides access to the scenic Lake Huron coastline. Whether you just want to stop in at the Visitor Centre or explore 15 km of hiking trails, it's a great spot to stretch your legs.
