Description
Kakabeka Falls Beach is located in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park, 19 miles (30.8 kms) west of Thunder Bay, in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a sandy beach on the shore of the Kaministiquia River located upstream of the famed Kakabeka Falls. When the water levels are high, the river’s current can be particularly strong. The swimming area is buoyed off to keep visitors safe. The beached is equipped with changing facilities, playground equipment, picnic tables and a lovely grassy area.
