Your gateway to Quetico, Atikokan is home to some of the best outdoors experiences in the north—12 months a year!

The round-trip hike from the South Kabeyun Trailhead parking lot, to the end of the Sea Lion Trail, and back is 2.4km and takes roughly an hour to complete. This trail has somewhat difficult access over an outcrop, passes a pebble beach on Perry Bay, and concludes at a diabase rock arch on Lake Superior. Interpretive panels are a must-read for anyone interested in the fascinating geology of this unique formation.

Named after the famous explorer Edward Umfreville, the Umfreville Trail is nearly 4 kilometers of paved recreational trail.

Ojibway Provincial Park is about 25 kilometres southwest of Sioux Lookout on Highway 72 in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. On Little Vermilion Lake, the park offers swimming, a sandy beach, camping and fishing. It has trails through pine forests and along the lake's shore.

A total of 22 km of gorgeous rocky paths, wetlands, swamp and forest trails that are great for skilled bicyclists and hikers.

Located on Wabigoon Lake within Dryden City limits, Sandy Beach Recreational Area is an ideal location for several summer activities including hiking, swimming, fishing, picnicking, and birding. Flat Rock provides easy access for fishing.

There is a nine-hole golf course, baseball diamonds and soccer pitches. The park is also available for birthdays or other events. 

Whiteshell Provincial Park is located in the Canadian Shield region of eastern Manitoba along the Ontario border
and offers year-round activities for every level of outdoor enthusiast. There are numerous trails for hiking and biking.
The remote lakes, beautiful boreal forest, and Precambrian ridges make this park popular with both locals and tourists.

Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls has unique and intersting trails for all ages and all physical abilites. There isnothing that compares to walking thorugh the majestic cear swamp on the Aspen Trail, climbing the callenging terrain of the Boreal trail, or strolling under the impressive canopy of the Red Pine Trail. Located withing walking distance of Little Falls Golf Course and picturesque Little Falls waterfall, Bunnell Park offers convenient camping for tents and trailers.

Stunning views of the Winnipeg River and Norman Dam can be seen along the series of trails that make up Tunnel Island. Please respect the heritage value of this sacred site, while enjoying the land. This is a dog-friendly off-leash trail.
