If you want an adventure, then Silver Falls is your destination. Silver Falls is within Silver Falls Provincial Park, 35 km northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. This pristine fall is a trek to get into, and out of, but it is the perfect destination for those that would like to do backcountry camping. The trail begins with a steep descending section with a rope to aid hikers. It follows the river to a gorge with a set of small falls called Silver Falls where hikers can also get a view of the much larger Dog Falls. The trail continues to the top of Dog Falls and to a lookout overlooking the river valley. Camping along Dog Lake is close by and makes Silver Falls a great adventure to experience.
