Located in Ville-Marie, Témiscamingue, the company specializes in the production of fine chocolate and pastries. Its main economic driver is chocolate processing. In part from its store sales, but also from the many retailers and the wide distribution of its products in supermarkets (chocolate bars, port and dessert cups). In 2018, a third floor with view on the lake was added to the building. Historically, Irish Pubs (Pub comes from Public House or House open to the Public) were frequented by travelers, rebels and pirates. We were inspired by this idea to develop our pub concept. In our opinion, Témiscamiens are like the Irish, proud, attached to their territory and linked to the land, the forest and the water. We were therefore looking for a name reminiscent of these notions of resistance. Straight out of our imagination, Barbe Broue has established himself as an emblematic figure recalling the rebelliousness of Témiscamiens and their attachment to the region.
